Majestic Elegance Playa Mujeres 5*

It is a very-very bad hotel!

Vacationed with my husband. A year ago we were in "Majestic Elegance Punta-Cana", that hotel was wonderful in everything. So, we decided to book "Majestic Costa Mujeres". But we were disappointed.

I do not recommend this hotel at all!!!

1. The worst thing is that we booked the room on the official website (on the website they say - if you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, the cancellation is free, the money will be returned). A week before arrival, we  canceled reservation and booked again for other dates. And the hotel $235 (from the first reservation) didn't returned at all. My emails are ignored, although they promised to return the money within 10 days.

2. At breakfast they sat us at the table, but didn't give any cutlery, didn't offered any drinks, until I went and asked them.

In the evening, at dinner in the restaurant, I ordered sushi, but they forgot about me, everyone who came at the same time with me had already eaten and left. They forgot about me until I reminded them about my order.

3. There are no milkshakes, no milk, no even a coffee machine in any bar. Coffee and milk only in the restaurants.

4. There is no any umbrella on the entire beach, only a few broken umbrellas are lying on the sand.

5. At 7:30 am it was no beach towels. They could leave it in the evening for people, who likes to swim early in the morning, if staff starting working late.

6. On the second day after our check - in, the room key stopped working for both of us. It was waisting of our time, instead of relaxing, we needed to go to the reception, find out the reason and solve the problem. And on the next day it happened again!!!

7. The elevator didn't worked first days, we lived on the 3rd floor, my husband is 70 years old, and it is not very pleasant to walk  by stairs, when it's so hut outside!

8. In the room from both sinks did not run out the water, it was broken. Repaired only after 2 days asking from them.

I prefer a comfortable staying and good service,  but this hotel is disappointing!

We fly almost every month from the United States to Mexico (now this country is the most convenient with restrictions).

We visited different hotels: Riu, Paradisus, Hyatt, Hard Rock, Catalonia... Therefore, we have something to compare it with.

But "Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres" is absolutely not worth the money! The maximum is worthy of 3 stars. I will never come back here and I recommend you to choose another hotel, if you want to enjoy your vacation.

On May, 29, we are flying again to Mexico. But we will never return in to this "Majestic" hotel
