Mirage Bay Resort & Aqua Park 4*

Mirage bay resort is one of the older hotels in Hurghada. It is a resort where you can enjoy a beautiful vacation or just complain about everything and change everything. Everything is very different from person to person. Everyone can have a completely different experience here. Regarding the room or food. Some rooms are very nice and clean, some smell and have no running water. It really depends a lot on luck. But from what we saw, one part is being completely redone from the floor up, which was a pleasant surprise. So it's nice to see something actually happening.

The hotel belongs to the lower price category, which could definitely please someone. It's not a luxury hotel, but you can't expect that from the reviews. The food here corresponds to four stars. Some days the selection is large, some days really small. We would definitely welcome some fish or seafood, at least once a week. The chicken is good, but a change would definitely be beneficial. The restaurant is small, so you can't expect miracles there. Sometimes you can have pasta. They don't always have multiple shapes to choose from. But for us, the food was quite passable. We certainly didn't suffer from hunger and that was the main thing. But they had really good desserts, that was really always the sweet spot at the end.

Anyone who goes to a classic hotel in Hurghada must expect an animation program. If you want to have grave silence and peace, you have to find a hotel without animators. Not everywhere you are lucky to have good animators, but here everyone was really great. People were constantly taking pictures with them, so it was clear that they were very popular. They didn't force anyone to do anything, they didn't pull anyone from the sunbeds, if we didn't want to participate in the activity, it was perfectly fine and they went on. They were nice to talk to and it must definitely be a very demanding job. They were well watched when they danced, a very nice and coordinated group. They have one Czech woman in the team who ran the children's club. The children really liked her and every evening she had a mini disco with them which was full of fun and games. This was followed by an evening program that changed every day.
